THE LIFE WE TAKE FOR GRANTED
The life we take for granted
Is the life we live enchanted
With beauty that blossoms in every nook
Just like the murmur of a babbling brook
In morning's hush, when dewdrops gleam
Like diamonds scattered in a dream
Each blade of grass, each tender leaf
Holds mysteries beyond belief
The windswept clouds that paint the sky
Tell stories as they drift on by
Of distant lands and ancient tales
Carried forth on gentle gales
Through forest deep and meadow wide
Nature's wonders still reside
In simple things we often miss
Each moment touched by subtle bliss
So pause awhile and truly see
The magic of reality
For in this world of rush and strain
The wonder still does yet remain
Where every sunset paints anew
A masterpiece of golden hue
Reminding us with quiet grace
That beauty dwells in every place
The sun, a painter, strokes the sky,
With hues of rose as daylight dies
The moon, a silver disc so bright,
Bathes the world in gentle light
The stars, like diamonds, twinkle high,
Reflecting dreams that softly sigh
And every breath, a precious gift,
A symphony of life, adrift
So let us cherish every grace,
This fleeting dance, this wondrous space
For in this life, so fleeting, brief,
We find true joy, and sweet relief
